About me.

Hi, I’m Diane. After a 15 year career in business and 29 years of teaching I have decided to retire. A born and raised Texas girl, I am wife to a native Tennessean (but he got to Texas as soon as he could), Michael; Mom to three awesome adults (Clent, Blayn, and Taylor); and Nana to three amazing grandsons (Gage, Zach, and Alexander).

Mike and I have been married for over 35 years. We enjoy sports, boating and hanging out at our local lake, and travel. We prefer the beach over mountains but rarely turn down an opportunity for adventure. We definitely don’t plan to sit around and get lazy or “in a rut” when settling into retirement. We are huge Tennessee Volunteer fans (his family is from Knoxville) and always enjoy a good trip to East Tennessee to catch a game.

The Kids

Meet my three children: Clent (Zonk), Blayn, and Taylor.

Zonk is my firstborn, Blayn is the typical middle child, and Taylor is 14 and 16 years younger than her brothers, so is sort of like an only child in many ways. They are my heart.

The Grandkids

The three grandsons: Gage, Zachary, and Alexander.

Gage and Zach belong to Blayn. Gage is the one who made me a Nana. He is the sweetest and kindest soul. Has a heart of gold and is always ready to help. Zach is the one who always makes me laugh and gives the best hugs. He is a hoot, occasionally has a bit of a temper, but there is never a dull moment with this one. Alexander is Clent’s only and is a live wire who is full of energy. This kid never stops.
